Account responsibilities

You are responsible for actions taken under your account. Keep your sign-in methods secure and do not share access with others. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or posting listings. We may suspend accounts that engage in abuse, fraud, or repeated policy violations.

Listings and user content

Sellers must describe items honestly, use images they are allowed to upload, and avoid misleading claims. You may not post adult content, violent content, hate content, instructions for wrongdoing, or any material that infringes copyright or trademark. You are responsible for complying with local laws about what can be sold and how it is delivered.

Buyers should review listings carefully and ask questions before meeting or accepting delivery. ThriftFind does not guarantee item quality or seller performance. Transactions are arranged between users, and you accept the risks inherent to peer‑to‑peer commerce.

Safety and respectful communication

Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior are not allowed. When meeting in person, choose public locations and use common sense precautions. If you believe a listing or a user is unsafe or violates our rules, please report it through the appropriate in-app options (where available) or contact us via the contact page.

Advertising

We may display advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are placed to be visible but not disruptive, and they should not overwhelm content. We do not encourage clicking on ads, and you should never click ads accidentally or repeatedly. Advertising behavior is governed by the relevant provider’s policies.

Availability and changes

We may modify, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We work to keep the platform stable and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update these terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy

Intellectual property

Users retain full ownership of the content they post on ThriftFind, including listing descriptions, photographs, and reviews. By posting content on the platform, you grantThriftFind a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

The ThriftFind name, logo, visual design, and overall look and feel of the platform are the intellectual property of ThriftFind and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works based on any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

Prohibited activities

To maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace, the following activities are strictly prohibited on ThriftFind:

• Creating fake accounts or impersonating other individuals or entities
• Posting misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent listings
• Spamming other users with unsolicited messages or promotional content
• Attempting to circumvent or disable platform safety features or security measures
• Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the platform
• Manipulating reviews, ratings, or any feedback mechanisms
• Selling counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or otherwise prohibited items

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.

Limitation of liability

ThriftFind is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. We facilitate the listing and discovery of items but do not participate in or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, nor the honesty or reliability of any user. All transactions are conducted directly between users, and you transact entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThriftFind shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to disputes between buyers and sellers, loss of data, or unauthorized access to your account.

Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, we encourage both parties to first attempt to resolve the matter directly through respectful communication. ThriftFind may, at its discretion, offer mediation assistance but is under no obligation to do so.

For unresolved disputes or concerns, users may reach out to our support team via the contact page. These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ThriftFind, its operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your listings, your transactions, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in prohibited activities, or otherwise poses a risk to the safety and integrity of the platform. Termination may occur without prior notice at our sole discretion.

Users may delete their accounts at any time by contacting us through the contact page. Upon account deletion, your listings will be removed; however, certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

Entire agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ThriftFind regarding your use of the platform. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
